About

My name is Robyn Scherer, and I live in Colorado. I consider myself an advocate for agriculture. I have spent the majority of my life involved in agriculture, and have a passion for the industry.

I am currently pursuing a career in agricultural communications. I work as the President and CEO for Cowgirl Publications LLC. I serve as Editor and Publisher of The Show Wether, a magazine for club sheep and goat producers. I also freelance for various magazines around the country.

I run my own show animal business, Champion Livestock, where I raise Boer goats and dairy goats, crossbred wether type sheep, and occasionally exotic/crossbred pigs. I sell to local 4-H and FFA members.

I graduated from Colorado State University with a dual Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Agricultural Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Technical Communication. I graduated with my Master’s of Agriculture in Integrated Resource Management, also from CSU, in May of 2011.

I grew up on a family equine operation raising horses and hay, and am a past FFA member and proud recipient of the American FFA Degree, which I received in the fall of 2009.
